This critically acclaimed debut CD of my own band MR.HATE will always be something special to me. MR.HATE formed out of four individuals, to me has always been one strong unity! Guys, you'll always stay in my heart!

We produced the album on our own, but managed to get USG Records to officially release "Fragments" some time later. After the first euphoria came frustration: Though USG seemed to be willing to get it on with MR.HATE the actual release took months (meanwhile we recorded another 12-track demo!) and the distribution was nothing but a shame! We gained simply fantastic reviews on the album, but the company didn't seem to care. They went bancrupt a couple years later, so what?! Also, we managed to get some US deal on Saraya Recordings, but that was nothing but a mess even more: We never ever saw a single dime from that release, and years later I found that label guy selling our CDs at Ebay for 25 $ each! Unbelievable! Maybe I can get this re-released with some bonus tracks someday.

The band called it a day in 1999.
