My 2nd full-length DOMAIN album. This time Axel and me seem to let loose in terms of songwriting and variety. To me this album is nothing but the natural progression to "One Million…". Even more different styles combined to one sound. Of course, this album is heavier than the one before, it's still melodic and catchy. I remember Axel sending over the first couple instrumental demos, and they all appeared to be pretty heavy. I said 'Hell yeah! Go on writing, whatever comes to your mind!". So he did. Whereas on "One Million…" we were driving like with our brakes on, this is different, and much more my type of shit! Awesome cover artwork by the sensational Sebastian Kozak, who also did TEN, CROWN OF THORNS or TWO FIRES. I was sending off my tiny little cover concept, and his first cover layout simply blew me away – exactly what I wanted! Unbelievable.
September/October this year we were booked to do our first ever full European tour as supporting act for none other than legendary vocalists GLENN HUGHES & JOE LYNN TURNER! I still don't believe, this has happened, but to me it proved that everything's gonna pay off someday. When I was 18 years old and got my first vocal lessons, I handed over a couple of my favourite CDs with my favourite singers to my vocal teacher. One of those albums was YNGWIE MALMSTEENs "Odyssey" feat. JOE LYNN TURNER. Life is nothing but a circle…
