In the Eighties, people said, your third album is the "make it, or break it" one. If you can't make it with your third release, you'll never make it. Well, I don't know about this these days, but "The Sky Is The Limit" brought major changes to E1. Whereas musically, the album is exactly, what people would expect from us after "Tattooed Heart", businesswise, things changed. At first, Robby quit from the performing band, to only do the production and songwriting (he also played all the keys and most of the rhythm guitar tracks). So, in JUSTICE-guitar wizzard Jörg Warthy Wartmann, we found the perfect match. Brillant solo guitarist and showman! Also, after we split up with Nuclear Blast, we signed to AFM Records, which seemed to be the perfect home for our style.
I love the album cover, again executed by the amazing Thomas Ewerhard, which represents the continuity in our style. Also, we shot a damn cool video for the title track "The Sky Is The Limit".
