Although this album is listed under "guest appearances" the guys made me always feel like I was some sixth or maybe seventh member to the band.

My collaboration with EDEN'S CURSE mainman Paul Logue, a brillant bass player and proud Scotsman started with the help of my former DOMAIN buddy Jochen Mayer, who one day called me to tell me about an add he saw on Melodicrock.com of one yet unnamed "international Melodic Rock project", which was looking for a new guitarist. The funny thing was, the project described their style as similar to PINC CREAM 69 and EVIDENCE ONE! Jochen knew, our buddy Thorsten Koehne of CODE OF PERFECTION was looking for a new band, so he asked me to call those guys, because me being a member of one of their favourite bands, would easily convince them to hook on Thorsten. In fact, they did! Furthermore, not only got Thorsten the job for the project, which later turned to be named as EDEN'S CURSE, I myself found new friends, especially in the aforementioned Paul Logue and former PAUL DIANNO drummer Pete Newdeck.

To make a long story short: I co-wrote a handful songs, did backing vocals on them and also offered the guys one E1 leftover from the "Tattooed Heart" sessions called "The Eyes Of The World", which they recorded, like it was their very own track - way better than our own version!

The EDEN'S CURSE debut, which also features the talents of singer Michael Eden and my buddy's Ferdy Doernberg to me is one of the best debut Melodic Metal albums of the last couple years!!! I don't know how, but Paul also managed to get David Readman (PINK CREAM 69) as well as Doogie White (ex-RAINBOW/YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) to do backings, too!

I feel absolutely honoured and thankful, that I had the opportunity to work with these guys, and when they finally got signed to AFM Records, I knew, some things in this business still make sense!
